Our beautiful, rustic cabins are tucked away in Amish country on a 5-acre hobby farm surrounded by lush pastures, rolling hills, and stunning waterways. Unwind in nature while exploring the beautiful countryside of Stirling and Hastings County. Beth & John live onsite at this charming 5-acre farm, just north of Belleville and famous Prince Edward County. Cabin Getaways started as a little project when they built a cabin for friends and family to stay in when visiting. Meet Our Goat Family

Our guests are always enamoured by the little goat family we’ve adopted and raised to be our own. Come pet and feed them when you visit, or watch them play in their spacious pasture. The hobby farm is also home to chickens and countless wild birds.

*For their health & safety, the goat family is only onsite April to October.

  • A peaceful gettaway. It was the perfect spot to do some stargazing. Beautiful location, cozy cabin, and the goats were so fun to watch.

  • Beth's place was exactly what we needed. The cottage is small but doesn't feel like it. We loved the screened in deck. The property is really very lovely and well maintained, easy to walk around and spend time out in the sun by the creek. Beth was very proactive with making sure we had everything we need. She also has some wonderful recommendations for things you likely won't find on your own, ask her about the donuts if you're there on a Saturday. There's a tranquility about the space that's hard to capture in a review. You can tell that care is taken for the property and that your presence as a guest is respected and that you're welcomed to be there.

  • My partner and I had a very relaxing few days!! We loved the space and getting to interact with the goats across the way was such a bonus! The homemade soaps and jams for sale was also such a cute touch. The cabin was perfect for what we were looking for and the full kitchen allowed for stress-free dining. The covered porch was also such a luxury to enjoy the outdoors without the harsh sun and bugs in the middle of the summer. Overall, perfect weekend :)

  • Glamping at it’s best! The cabin was quiet and cozy. The bed was really comfortable and the compost toilet performed very well. We spent most of our time out on screened porch which had the perfect amount of sunlight and shade and the beautiful sounds of the birds and goats added to the ambiance. Every night we enjoyed sitting by fire. A perfect quiet getaway if you want a full disconnect.
